With a "Yo ho ho and a bottle of Rum" Here we are at the start of another boating season. Unless some are fortunate to be in a climate where the weather is boating friendly all year round.
We're all looking forward to a cracking summer in the UK as most feel we've been cheated with the weather over the last couple of years. Time to start checking the boat over for the usual maintenance, are one of the trickiest if you're not the sparky type. The salt can play havoc with them if not properly protected. I have just fitted a new starter motor to the Suzuki outboard engine but not wired it up yet. Sounds simple but it seems a long time since I took the old one out and although not many wires I just don't want to get it wrong.
Get the antifouling on, give her a polish and get out on the water for some wakeboarding and fishing fun.
So whats you're idea of great boating? And where the hell does "Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum" originate from anyway?
